Adventure
Duration: 1 dive
Participants should be encouraged to complete their Scuba Review by making a supervised open water dive. This type of dive provides participants with the comfort of supervised diving as well as an environmental orientation for a particular aquatic area. A supervised open water dive becomes even more important when the Scuba Review participant is unfamiliar with the local aquatic environment. The Discover Local Diving orientation is a guided tour, during which items of interest and potential hazards are identified for the participant. This increases diving safety and enjoyment for those unfamiliar with a specific aquatic environment.
Highly recommended if you did not dive in a lake before!
